Matthew Aitchison

Chartered Financial Planner

Matthew has worked in financial services for more than 13 years.

His career began at a traditional independent financial advisory firm; he started out in admin, moved to a research role and finally became a Financial Adviser over a period of three years. Matthew then worked for a small wealth management firm in Northamptonshire. Here, he specialised in in-depth pension, investment and tax work. He also built on his experience, with a focus on forming ongoing client relationships.

Matthew left the firm to pursue self-employment, eventually moving to work on a sole trader basis as Clear Vision Financial Planning. In 2011, Clear Vision became a directly authorised limited company.

Today, Matthew specialises in personal financial planning for people approaching retirement, business owners and solicitors. Matthew’s focus is, and always has been, on personal financial planning that makes a real difference in people’s lives.

Over the years, his commitment to professional development has seen him achieve both Chartered (CII) and Certified (CISI) status. These accreditations place Matthew amongst the UK’s leading financial professionals. He has also received mentions in notable financial publications, including New Model Adviser.

Personally

Matthew is married to Sandra, and the couple have four daughters. When he’s not spending time with his family or working, Matthew can often be found out running or on the golf course.

Sandra Aitchison

Director & Office Manager

Sandra is responsible for the financial management of the business as well as management of the office, including internal finance and HR requirements.

She has a strong background in accountancy and finance which adds immeasurable value to the business.

Personally

With four children, two dogs and a business, Sandra’s spare time is somewhat limited! When she gets the chance, she enjoys Pilates, visiting new places and catching up with friends over tea or wine.
